Hi http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pinkjuice.com%2Fsvg%2Ftmp%2Fbasictemplate.svg says it's invalid, but http://www.cogsci.ed.ac.uk/~richard/xml-check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pinkjuice.com%2Fsvg%2Ftmp%2Fbasictemplate.svg&validate=on and http://rubynewbies.com/~tobi/xmlval/xmllint.rb?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pinkjuice.com%2Fsvg%2Ftmp%2Fbasictemplate.svg both say it's valid. I think the document is valid.
