CSS validator code error

Hello,

When anybody validate the css with your validator, you give the option for
add the icon CSS Validated.
And you give this source:

<p>
 <a href="http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/">
  <img style="border:0;width:88px;height:31px"
       src="http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/images/vcss"
       alt="Valid CSS!">
 </a>
</p>

But the image tag is NOT CLOSED.
So it will NOT VALIDATE with the xhtml validator.
