Your sample code for adding "valid markup" icons to validating pages often makes them stop validating

This is the case with ISO HTML, for instance.
The sample code uses the 'border' attribute on an IMG tag, which is not
legal in either W3 HTML4 strict or ISO HTML.
You may wish to replace this code frag with something that validates.
