Doesn't handle long lines correctly

I was interested in the validity of this page:

(a Hungarian meta search page)

but found out that the validator doesn't handle long lines correctly. 
The page above is a few normal lines and a _very_long_ (15366 
characters) line.
I don't know if the results are correct or not, but displaying the 
errors is sure not. The column number is maxed at 50, and the red ^ sign 
starts sliding off, until it points to totally unrelated parts.
