We'd be happy to work with you to make this easier to implement. We'd also like to know about it if you provide such a feature in your product, so we can place that information in our documentation. This mailinglist, www-validator@w3.org, is the best place to send such things, but you can also drop by #validator on OpenProjects IRC; most of the time either me or Gerald will be there (and Aaron too it seems ;D) or will stop by shortly.
