Hello - I'm puzzled - my site was not validated but seems to look OK - I've spoken to lots of people who have visited it and not complained.
www.microsoft.com, www.netscape.com and www.javascript.com don't validate either!
Only the first 8 lines of www.dell.com were parsed (for some reaswon) but even these failed! So it's not surprising that www.hp.com failed the test!
It would be very helpful to add some kind of explanation to the w3 site for novices such as myself.
