    Ok, I was really looking for a quick summary of what it's intended to cover
    and an IANA registration name for it. In any case, I don't think there's
    any hurry with adopting this. We can wait until Iconv supports it and the
    IANA registration goes through.

    You'd think you'd be able to get code tables and magic numbers and such for
    free, at least, like the UNICODE Consortium does. *sigh*
