Actually, the DTDs for HTML 4.0 Strict, through XHTML 1.1 Strict, all have
«width» and «height» attributes on their respective «img» elements -- I'm
as surprised as you are! :-) -- so that code is apparently valid. Did you
aftually try to validate it?
