Subject: bug in validator?
Hello!
I used your great validator-service some monthes ago, and all the things was
going OK. Now, when I tryed to validate my page, I received this strange
message:
"URI: http://scooter-tunes.narod.ru/rus/index.html
Last modified: Sun Mar 4 07:43:01 2001
Server: Microsoft-IIS/0.92 (OS/360) ASP/7.315.0284 mod_layout/2.9.2 CJK
support
Content length: 1679
A fatal error occured when attempting to transliterate the document charset.
Either we do not support this charset yet, or you have specified a
non-existant character set (typically a misspelling such as "iso8859-1" for
"iso-8859-1").
The detected charset was "windows-1251".
The error was "[Sun Mar 4 02:51:02 2001] check: Unsupported conversion:
Invalid argument at /usr/local/validator/httpd/cgi-bin/check line 391. ".
If you believe the charset to be valid you can submit a request for that
character set (see the feedback page for details) and we will look into
supporting it in the future."
So, what is this?! My charset is always "windows-1251", but before your
service worked and now - no! I wanna use it now too!!!
So...?!
web-master iSmart.
