W3C Validation says it's right, Tidy says it's wrong. Tidy was right..

I was using validator.w3.org and that page told me the html was right....Tidy 
said I'was missing a '>' . And Tidy was right.
Both where parsing the same document [Yes, I'm sure]
I had forgotten to close the IMG tag [inside a A tag] It looked like this:
<a href="http://www.somewhere.org/"><img 
scr="http://www.somewhereelse.org/image.gif"</a>
