    Of course it can be - and is.  Ken's page seems to me a textbook example
    of doing several things right where all too many dezyners fail, and it
    validates correctly with Site Valet and WDG Validator, both of which
    explicitly support XHTML 1.1.
    
    The issue with the W3 validator is merely that is doesn't yet recognise
    the XHTML1.1 doctype, so it treats it as it would a custom DTD and
    fetches the DTD to validate.
