    To this might be added that the page <http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/>
    still claims that:
     
      "XHTML 1.0 is W3C's Recommendation for the latest version of HTML"
    
    But on the same page the following is also found:
    
      31 May 2001: W3C is pleased to announce the publication of XHTML 1.1 -
      Module-based XHTML as a W3C Recommendation,
    
    Is this just an oversight, or is XHTML 1.0 still the current W3C
    recommendation for HTML? If so, then what is XHTML 1.1?
