I give up.  Sir, the code for the validator is publicly available;
I recommend that you put up your _own_ validator, wherein you can
apply your superior knowledge of SGML and HTML in a way that makes
perfect sense to you.  Perhaps you could ask Bart to create a logo
you can use.
