            Bug ID: 25720
Summary: W3C validator does not allow the role attribute on
                    various inline SVG elements
           Product: Validator
           Version: HEAD
          Hardware: PC
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HTML5
          Assignee: mike+validator@w3.org
          Reporter: jcraig@apple.com
        QA Contact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org

The W3C validator does not allow the role attribute on various inline SVG
elements. It's allowed in SVG 2.0, so I think this is a validator bug.

Indie UI Context ED does not validate due to this bug.
