I would not want to add a "force content-type" option for the sole purpose of accomodating a borken 
browser, but that could be of interest to compare e.g files served as text/html and application/
xhtml+xml.

I'd wait until the IE bug is acknowledged, or, better, fixed in some development version, before adding 
such an option, though...
