After we went into the use cases, the discussion faded away and it seems we went back to do "Local URIs" (which possibly can also serve as "Global URIs" - see the attachment for definition of these terms). I have no problem with that, and actually do not want to reopen the discussion, but I thought it appropriate to document our conclusions and update the requirements document. The more so, as there were some valuable comments on the current requirements document. What I did (or tried to do) with the document was - to improve based on the comments received, among others <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-tv/1998OctDec/0222.html> <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-tv/1998OctDec/0200.html> - to insert the application scenarios which I thought were representative to the full set as collected and documented by Craig (thanks, Craig). <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-tv/1998OctDec/0224.html> - to adapt the requirements according to the findings from those application scenarios (also prepared by Craig). <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-tv/1998OctDec/0223.html> I hope you also find the attached document better reflecting the state of our discussion. Warner.
