PUT method

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Question: Is there something odd about the PUT method that Netscape
          does not allow it to be used as a method on a form?

I have the following:

<form method="PUT" action="some_url">
<input type="submit" value="submit">
</form>

And when I click 'Submit' a GET request is sent to the web server.

Any help appreciated.
