Actually, that's a very good idea.  But, in essence, that would be 
_another_ naming system, similar to the current domain name, that would 
act as a front end _to_ the current domain name system.  Now you look up 
www.citibank.com, but with this suggestion, you would look up Citibank 
which would look up www.citibank.com.

I think this is more in tune with what you want.  Isn't Yahoo! like the 
service you provide above (though perhaps not as complete).
