know any URI addressing schemes that I don't?

I just discovered a few new ones: javascript:
and synonyms mocha: and livescript:.

I should probably periodically post this
registry, huh?

Sad note: still tel:, fax:, and irc: are parsed
as relative addresses in some popular
implementations ... :-{

Anybody know how to install URI schemes on
the desktop? Suppose I want to add my own
code for processing tel: URIs. Can I?
