I'm working on a server using HTTP/1.1 protocol. I've used the server with
the following browsers: Netscape 3.01 Gold, Netscape Communicator 4.01, and
Internet Explorer 3.02. Although my server sends HTTP/1.1 in the header,
the browsers respond with HTTP/1.0.

Are these browsers capable of handling HTTP/1.1? If so, why don't they
respond with HTTP/1.1 in the headers? If not, are there any browsers that
will respond to HTTP/1.1?
