W3C Workshop on crypto, hardware token and authentication

Hello the TAG,

In January I had the pleasure to present you the work happening in Web Crypto WG [1]. I received some good feedbacks from the TAG, and during our exchanges, some of you mentioned the idea to have stronger security guarantees in cryptographic operations, and some of you mentioned the need to have a trusted execution and storage.
I just would like to bring your attention that there will be a W3C Workshop on Web Cryptography, Hardware token, Authentication and Beyond [2]. The idea of this workshop is to explore the possible services that could be integrated in the open web platform, in case hardware token were made available to web application, and/or explore the idea of secure authentication, and/or brainstorm on any new service that would help security sensitive use cases to be deployed.

I am inviting you here to have a look at the call for paper, and if you have any idea to share with us, please do so. The deadline is 18th of July. The Workshop is planned on 9/10th of Sept in Microsoft Mountain View offices.

Regards,
Virginie
Co-chair of the workshop, with Harry Halpin
