Hi Dave! I'd like to piggyback on your introduction thread, if that's all right.

I'm Domenic Denicola, the other new member. I work at Lab49, a consultancy in the finance industry, and was nominated by the jQuery Foundation. I'm still somewhat new to the web standards world, but have been getting involved more over the last year, and encouraging others to do the same. I talked about my hopes for the kind of things I can contribute to the TAG in my blog post,

I'm excited to work with everyone here---and with any developers that want to reach out to us!

-Domenic

Subject: introducing myself

Hello! I'm Dave Herman, one of the two new members of the TAG, and just wanted to send a quick hello and introduce myself. I work at Mozilla Research, where we run a number of initiatives to push the Web's platform technology forward. I'm also a member of Ecma TC39, the JavaScript standardization committee. I talked about my interests a little bit in my recent blog post:

I look forward to working with everyone here!

Happy new year,
Dave
