Subject: [ISOC] New public policy discussion list

Dear all,

We are happy to inform you that we are launching a new mailing list to engage with all our categories of members, with the aim to foster discussion on some of the key Internet public policy issues.

The objective of the list is not to replace any other engagement list (Chapters, AC, etc), but rather to provide an avenue for conversation and mutual exchange, taking advantage of the perspective and expertise of our diverse community in building ISOC's policy approach. Please bear in mind that the purpose of this list is strictly to focus on Internet policy issues.

We will soon kick-start the discussion with a consultation on Internet governance in light of the upcoming meeting of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Baku (6-9 November 2012). We will share more details on the list next week.

The list is called InternetPolicy@elists.isoc.org<mailto:InternetPolicy@elists.isoc.org>. It is opt-in only and if you are interested in joining the conversation, we invite you to take the following steps to subscribe to this list from your ISOC membership account:
