I'm not following the latest Twitter flap in detail, but I >thought< the 
concern was with the growing ubiquity of -webkit____, and in particular its 
use in non-Webkit implementations. Thus, -webkit____ is starting to become 
a non-standard euphemism for "works on mobile" (and of course on desktop 
Chrome/Safari, etc.)
