Note that the colon proposal that the TAG is putting forward requires  
doing dispatching in a way that is not proper per Namespaces.

The hyphenated way, on the other hand, does not require breaking  
Namespace-wise correct dispatch. It just doesn't use all the  
facilities available and leaves Namespaces latent without requiring a  
breaking their processing.

That was the situation in September. Now the situation is not using  
anything but the hyphen would be an approach requiring change.
