If we agree 'what XML / XHTML  stands for' -> dealing with information we
have no 
choice to extend 'even' with version - information about the provided
content section.


On my understanding this is what XML/XHTML stands for - EXTENSIBLE markup
language,
dealing with any kind of 'Information'  So it is (should be) possible to
extend any section 
with information, even they are located in subsections about e.g. versions
or any other stuff 
giving details about the content of this section /subsection.
