RE: Microsoft XML File formats for Office Suite & Binary XML

Zipped files are used for compression.

Zipped files can be inadequate or harmful for 
the cases for which binaries are preferred.

This example neither makes nor breaks the case for 
XML binaries.  It weakens the case for a non-specific 
standard.

Anyway, I mention all this because it seems to bear at least indirectly on 
the Binary XML discussion.  At least one major vendor will be using zip'd 
XML to achieve compression.
