I'm happy to announce the availability of an Internet-Draft, Registration of xmlns Media Feature Tag, which: --------------------- registers a media feature tag 'xmlns', per RFC 2506, intended for use in a Content-features header to indicate the XML namespaces used in an XML document. This information augments MIME content-type information, providing a finer granularity of content description for XML documents. --------------------- http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-stlaurent-feature-xmlns-00.txt While I'm announcing this publication on www-tag@w3.org because it seems relevant to (and was in part inspired by) the XML media types conversation here over the last week, ietf-xml-mime@imc.org is probably the most appropriate list for discussion. -- Simon St.Laurent Ring around the content, a pocket full of brackets Errors, errors, all fall down! http://simonstl.comReceived on Monday, 21 January 2002 17:17:53 GMT
