I, for one, would welcome a signal from the TAG when the time comes to discuss this concern. There are surely some subtleties, and I have some ideas about how REST might be treated in the architecture. On the other hand, I don't want to crowd the list with discussion before the TAG is ready for what would surely be a noisy discussion.
