Re: Minutes, May 26 2011 SVG WG telcon

Hi Rik,

As I was the orginator of this part of the spec. back in 2002
or so and handed it over through a series of successors - Anthony being
the most recent, I'll take the lead to get it finished in it's current
form so that we can get on to the extra blending modes.

Splitting out P-D from the blend modes is something to consider
and I think you'll find feedback from the CR period may dictate how
we accomplish that.

As we discussed before, the best plan of action is probably to
complete the current version as fast as possible since it's been festering
for a number of years. Then we can immediately move on to the next version
which adds the extra blend modes.

We implement the current set of blend modes and I'd like to
collaborate closely with you to get the additional set implemented in
our SVG engine and another engine so we can get those blend modes
through version 2 CR in a reasonable time frame as well.

Cheers,
Alex
