Very nice work.  Thanks for sharing.  By the way, the HTML Slidy2 [1] presentation software developed by the W3C has some interactivity features that you might want to consider adding to Powerline.  

For example the ability to use left and right arrow keys, or using the spacebar to advance slides.  I also like that you can type C to get the table of contents.  More info here [2].  Just some ideas, which you should certainly be able to add using script in SVG.
