Native support for Drap & Drop in SVG

Hi,

I wonder if the WG members ever consider supporting Drag & Drop  
natively in SVG. There is the excellent article from Antoine Quint  
explaining how to implement Drag & Drop in Javascript, but it is  
relatively complex compare to how it can be done in Flex (see http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/quickstart/adding_drag_and_drop/) 
.. Any chance to see this coming in future SVG releases?
