has the WG considered how users might block undesired SVG content?
might seem far-fetched but...

my thinking is that up until recently svg is either sandboxed in some  
corporate project, or created in good faith.
there hasn't been a commercial case for advertising or svg banner ads  
etc.

my concern is that should SVG ever get popular, there's no real reason  
not to provide such stuff.

And thus the problem.
