Would be interesting, if they have different results with
the transform attribute too - for example in the related
tests of the test suite ;o)

I do not have a Safari, but for Konqueror+KSVG the transform tests 
look ok as for Opera or a Gecko like Iceape.
Surprising that there is a difference in the DOM interpretation ;o)
