Capture animateTransform in real time

I've filed this bug at Inkscape, however if anybody can provide a web
based or other method, I'd be grateful ~:"

I'd like to be able to draw, and whilst
capturing the path, also capture the speed and
acceleration.

Alternatively to be able to drag groups around,
and also capture the path, speed and acceleration

I'd like to create a series of primitive alphabet letters
in a beautiful hand.
To enable children and others to trace them.
However the timing is a significant aspect of the process, ie
where the hand pauses and accelerates.

Child friendly version?
