SVG12: ECMA-262 vs ECMA-327

Dear Scalable Vector Graphics Working Group,

  http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/WD-SVG12-20041027/events.html section 16.1
seems to be quite confusing, for <script type="text/ecmascript"> is is
said

This type of executable content must be source code for the
ECMAScript programming language (Ed 3 compact profile ES 327).

which is odd considering that SVG 1.1 refers normatively to ECMA-262,
but then it is not clear whether it is meant to refer to ECMA-262
Edition 3 or some other version, e.g., the latest version of the
document; such that publication of ECMA-262 Edition 4 requires SVG
implementations to conform to that instead.

Maybe http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/WD-SVGMobile12-20040813/ was meant to
refer to ECMA-327 and SVG 1.2 to ECMA-262... If it is really meant to
refer to ECMA-327, ECMA-327 should be a normative reference. Please
change the documents accordingly and publish normative corrections to
SVG 1.1 that clarify which ECMA-262 is meant exactly.

regards.
