LC Comment ElementTimeControl methods

Dear SVG WG,
We have been unable to find a Normative description of the ElementTimeControl methods presented in the UDOM. There is a brief description of anticipated concepts of some of the methods in the SMIL 2.0 Proposed Edited Recommendation, Reserved DOM methods (http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/PER-SMIL2-20041105/smil-timing.html#Timing-DOMSupport). In fact the description includes the following text "A separate document will define specific DOM interfaces to support SMIL Timing." We propose that a complete description of these interfaces should be made either in the UDOM or the DOM Enhancements sections.

Is it to be expected that when paused an animation element will not raise any events, i.e. begin end or repeat events, yet the begin and end times may be altered thru normal means?

What events are raised when the animation element is unpaused? What are the event offsets? Is it expected that the animation element will raise any relevant events with relevant offsets?
