% is not allowed in a list-of-points

Hi 

            I discovered that % is not allowed in a list-of-points in SVG1.1.

            For example the following is illegal: <polygon id="triangle" points="-2.5%,+2% 0%,-2.5% +2.5%,+2%"/>

             

            Any chance of % being allowed in list-of-points in SVG1.2???
