NN sometimes works only with local files

Hi everyone!

with NN I can watch
http://www.w3.org/TR/2000/03/WD-SVG-20000303/images/animate/anim01.svg
and
http://www.adobe.com/web/features/svg/samples.html
etc.

###but neither
http://www.ep.cs.nott.ac.uk/projects/SVG/flash2svg/swfsvganim.html#egs
nor
http://www.tbx67.de/svg/
work, because NN launches the pop-up-window for
notepad.exe
 both pages work in IE; the second one is mine and
works
in NN only from my harddrive.

does my host have to do something, like install the
MIMEtype?
