The SVG working group has published a new public draft spec for SVG. The HTML version is at: http://www.w3.org/1999/07/06/WD-SVG-19990706/ This time, we have included a PDF version at: http://www.w3.org/1999/07/06/WD-SVG-19990706/WD-SVG-19990706.pdf Note that there may be problems now with the main link: http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-SVG, which might take you to the April 12 draft. A complete list of changes incorporated into this draft are included in Appendix B: Change History: The HTML version is at: http://www.w3.org/1999/07/06/WD-SVG-19990706/changes.html Additional note: regarding the lack of responsiveness to public email queries, the SVG working group apologizes and will attempt to be more responsive. We are indeed listening and discussing the emails posted to the email list and making real changes to the spec in response to the public emails. There are potential additional changes to the spec that are not yet incorporated in the 19990706 spec which were partly spurred by public emails. One reason for our hesitancy to respond is that we prefer expressing working group consensus rather than personal opinion, and we don't know what the working group consensus will be until the working group has an opportunity to discuss the given issue.
