  The latest beta of Emacs-W3 supports vertical-align when possible.
However, I haven't gotten around to changing the image widget to honor it.
The implementation will be slightly hindered by the fact that XEmacs
doesn't give me as much exact control over placement of things as I would
like, but I'll be supporting as much as I can.  Have been going through bit
by bit of the CSS and DSSSL specs pounding out the new drawing code.  Fun
fun.
