Leading is the distance between lines of text, usually in points. Baseline
skip (a TeX-ism) is the distance from one baseline to the next, so
leading + max font size on line = baseline skip
This should probably be modifiable, especially in the case of list
elements and boxed items, with an explicit vertical skip. Also, if the
leading would cause the border of one box to overlap another, they should
be seperated automatically before explicit vertical skip is applied. That
is, one could force boxes to overlap by using negative vertical skip. The
amount of space the browser inserts to seperate boxes should also be
