[css-display] Initial value of display

When I look at all the properties in CSS Display [1], specifically
display, and then the display property’s characteristics in CSS 2.1
[2], I wonder, is the old “inline” initial value indeed mapping 1:1 to
the new display-outside’s “inline-level”?

Just to make sure I don’t miss something, or that we’re running into
an incompatibility here.
