If it is not past the deadline, these are my final comments on CSS Writing Modes.

7.3.2, second to last paragraph
For someone who has not read this document before, it might be nice to have an image here of a not so well formatted t-shaped document, and also one of correctly-formatted multi-column text wrapped within the text's containing block.

"text-combine-horizontal"

"text-fit-horizontal"

{COMMENT: "text-compress" is a possibility too but some places online text-compress seems to  mean something else, and this is perhaps no easier to type than text-combine.  These are just thoughts; someone else will have a better idea.}
