Could, should. The more this thread talks of imaginary software, the
more evidence it has outlived its usefulness. At the least, this is not 
a mailing list to discuss the hypothetical features of such software. 
Given the topic, it would seem appropriate for the folks interested in 
solving this problem to set up a forum to discuss how it should be done.

After all, aren't forums a far superior interface to do that? :)
