Not really, IE7 will still not adjust fonts that are sized with pixels
(with the view > text size menu).

It has implemented an overall zoom feature which seems intended to
replace the text zoom. However, in the context of sizing things with
pixels vs EMs / percentage, this bug/feature could become apparent
again.
