Could I suggest that "like" be replaced by "such as" whenever the latter is more accurate ? In the following : "Scripts like Thai, Khmer, and Lao ..." is more accurately rendered as "Scripts such as Thai, ...", since Thai is one of the scripts that has the property under discussion. Philip Taylor
