It seems better that the special syntax for attr() is just defined in  
http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/WD-css3-values-20050726/ just like ns|type,  
[ns|attr] etc. are defined in  
http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/WD-css3-selectors-20051215/ ...
