The first mention of descriptors in CSS2.1 is in section 1.4.1.

But there is no explicit guideline as to the difference between a descriptor
and a property.

Furthermore, CSS2 (not CSS2.1) had "Appendix G. Descriptor Index", but there
is no such index in CSS2.1.

I would like to see where the term descriptor is defined.
