Um, being chased into the hills by death squads comes to mind. 
Especially when, after a few weeks of hiding, one is discovered, one's 
children are shot in the face before one's very eyes, and one's hands 
are severed by force of a machete.

This has been a lighthearted reminder that there are other things going 
on in the world.
